Provide a wide range of medical services and procedures at this mid-size hospital, including comprehensive women's services for the Northwest Las Vegas area. In addition to providing digital mammography, gynecologic care and gynecologic surgery, the Womens Center pays special attention to new moms. During their stay, moms enjoy special menus, massages and afternoon teas. The Women's Center maternity services include labor, delivery and recovery rooms, antepartum and postpartum care, a newborn nursery and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit.

Responsibilities
Lead a caring team, ensuring every expectant and new family feels supported during one of life's most special moments.

Collaborate with physicians and staff to keep our labor and delivery unit running smoothly and compassionately.

Cultivate a warm, respectful environment where both teammates and patients feel valued.

Champion ongoing professional growth through friendly guidance and hands-on training.

Oversee patient care practices with a focus on safety, quality, and evidence-based improvements.

Coordinate resources and schedules to ensure balanced, attentive care around the clock.

Embrace innovative ideas to make our unit a model of comfort, efficiency, and excellence.

Responsible for the 24 hour management of the assigned unit assuring patient care meets the standard of care.

Qualifications
Passionate leader with a proven background managing busy Labor & Delivery units.

Compassionate clinical expert committed to delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns.

Skilled in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and positive outcomes.

Excellent communicator who builds trust and fosters a collaborative work environment.

Dedicated to staff development, quality improvement, and embracing best practices in care.

Enthusiastic about using innovative approaches to enhance patient experiences and staff satisfaction.

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN required.

Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience required and one (1) to two (2) years progressive management experience required.

Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current ACLS Certification. Current NRP Certification. Current BCLS Certification.

Other:

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
