Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who own their own cargo van, sprinter van and/or 26ft box truck and are looking to leverage their driving skills in a variety of transportation settings. The Owner Operator Driver will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all regulations. This position requires a commitment to quality service and a strong understanding of the logistics involved in the transportation industry.

Duties

Operate various types of trucks, including cargo vans, sprinter vans and/or 26ft box trucks, ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Manage the loading and unloading of cargo, utilizing forklift skills as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for vehicle type.
Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of manual transmission operation.
Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently as an owner operator while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Must possess a reliable vehicle that meets company standards for operation.
