Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in brick and block work and capable of delivering quality workmanship with attention to detail.

You will be responsible for building walls, partitions, and other structures using bricks, blocks, and mortar, ensuring accuracy, levelness, and durability.

Responsibilities

Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry to construct walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications to determine layout and material requirements
Mix mortar and operate hand tools and power tools as required
Ensure structures are level, plumb, and aligned
Cut and shape bricks to fit corners, arches, and complex layouts
Work closely with site supervisors and other trades on-site
Maintain a clean and safe working area in line with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bricklayer (2+ years preferred)
Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques and materials
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and site plans
Own tools and PPE
Valid CSCS Card (required)
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Bricklaying (preferred)
Good physical fitness and stamina
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
