Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design, ensuring high-quality finishes in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Select appropriate materials and techniques for each project to achieve the desired finish.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and design options.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety standards are met.
Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Skills

Proficient in English to ensure clear communication with clients and team members.
Valid driving licence is preferred for travel to various job sites.
Strong painting skills with experience in both interior and exterior work.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results in every project undertaken.
