Electrical Estimator
Job Location: Santa Clara, San Leandro, Vacaville, Sacramento & Roseville (California)

Responsibilities:
Analyze project specifications and plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project. Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service Help create labor rates/estimates for any project. Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and subcontractors. Intellectually review bids and proposals from vendors and subcontractors. Use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis for estimators. Present prepared estimates to management and other members of the Estimating Department. Compile and record costs in Accubid.

Skills and Qualifications:
2 years of administrative or office-related experience. High School Diploma or GED. Experience with writing estimates, project file processes, and quality industry reporting. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Courteous and professional at all times. Ability to remain calm and professional during tense and stressful situations. Self-motivated and goal oriented. Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once. Capable of working in a fast paced and team-oriented environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe. Ability to learn new software like Accubid. Minimum education GED or equivalent. Able to complete a background check.
