We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer responsible for the development, integration, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical devices. The role involves applying engineering expertise to address challenges in design, troubleshooting, and process optimization. This position requires collaboration with external customers and suppliers to share information and solve complex technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical devices, ensuring seamless integration of existing processes.
• Apply engineering principles and problem-solving techniques to address design, redesign, and troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborate with external customers and suppliers to resolve technical challenges and share critical information.
• Design and implement production fixtures, tools, and inspection equipment to support manufacturing efficiency.
• Plan and strategize for capacity needs, including equipment, labor, and space, as well as develop maintenance strategies.
• Track and improve production metrics, such as yield, productivity, and downtime, while implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Estimate and track cycle times, and develop production routers to optimize workflow.
• Develop and maintain Manufacturing Process Instructions, routers, and bills of materials (BOM).
• Lead process validation efforts, ensuring that any changes to specifications, methods, or procedures are properly verified or validated according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor, investigate, and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, proactively identifying trends and implementing solutions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background with experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing processes, process validation, and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
