Electrical General Foreman
at Jobisite in North Carolina
FOREMAN NEEDED!!
The position of General Foreman will be one that oversees all other positions as well as manages projects.
You will not report to the home office on a daily basis. Field employees report directly to the job site.
SUMMARY
The Electrical General Foreman is responsible for managing and planning teams of Foremen, Mechanics, and Helpers in the execution of electrical installations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Communicate with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or electrical problems.
· Responsible for mitigating risk to the organization through proper planning and execution
· Coordinates work with other trade contractors to avoid conflicts and ensures ETIs scopes of work stay on schedule
· Communicates with Project Manager for necessary resources (i.e. manpower, material, equipment, and tools)
· Follows all material planning, ordering, usage and inventory procedures to ensure the efficient use of project materials
· Coordinates planning for larger or high-risk projects
· Ensures ETI employees are following company policy and procedures
· Ensures installations meet project scope, NEC, and ETI standards for code and quality
· Ensures ETI employees are following all safety rules and takes appropriate action if safety hazards are identified
· Completion of all project documentation and testing as required
· Supports the training and career development of helpers, mechanics and foremen
QUALIFICATIONS

· City Card/Journeyman Card required
· Demonstrated experience in a Foreman role
· Ability to manage multiple projects in multiple locations simultaneously
· OSHA 30 certification or ability to earn OSHA 30 certification
· Ability to operate technology
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
· Ability to safely operate a variety electric, battery-operated and manual hand tools
· Ability to drive a motor vehicle with valid drivers license and clean driving record
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· Ability to stand for long periods, walk, squat, kneel, and climb a ladder
· Ability to grasp, hold and twist and manipulate objects with their hands (manual dexterity)
· Ability to see details at close range and distinguish colors and shades
· Ability to hear verbal instructions and safety warnings
· Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Construction sites can be loud (hearing protection is sometimes required)
· Construction sites can be hot or cold, depending on the time of year and the stage of construction
· Construction sites have slip and trip hazards, fall hazards, hazards from falling debris and other safety hazards. PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses and work boots are typically required.
WORK HOURS
· The work hours for this position are typically 6:50 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break, but may vary based on client need and project schedule. Any changes in schedule will be announced by a Foreman
· Overtime and weekend work may be required during busy periods.
DRESS CODE
· ETI uniforms are required at all times.
· Pants and shirts must be clean and neat with no holes.
· Undergarments should not be seen.
· Work boots are required.
· Safety shoes are recommended and may be required on some jobs.
· Tennis shoes, sneakers, soft-soled or worn-out shoes are not allowed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.50 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
