We are currently in the process of launching a new and exciting brand -- creativity and EXPERIENCE matter greatly for this designer position.

Our team is seeking a motivated, honest, and professional individual to measure, design, and meet with existing and potential builders and clients. The job entails collecting dimensions from prospective clients and creating kitchen designs / layouts for their project. We are looking for a full time experienced kitchen designer.

Qualified candidates should have experience designing and selling in the kitchen industry. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service skills while also focusing on meeting sales goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Measuring, estimating and designing each project with accuracy

• Inspire and create dream kitchen and baths

• Meeting sales goals

• Prospecting

• Working with existing builders and developing relationships with new builders

• In-depth knowledge of kitchen design and industry trends

• Orchestrate the store experience educating clients about possibilities and products, and guiding them through a profitable sales process

• Build proposals and quotes reflecting the needs of the customer

• Diligently manage customers’ requests

• Execute the client’s order and support the organization in successfully fulfilling orders

• Interact with industry professionals, cultivate relationships for repeat business and develop a self-sustaining network of clients

• Proactively learn about industry trends, vendors, the local market and products

• Share knowledge and support with clients

• Contribute to the overall performance of the showroom where needed

• The ability to work in a team atmosphere

Experience and skills required:

• Marketing skills

• Detail oriented with excellent communication skills and follow up

• 2 years experience with kitchen design and/or -

At least 2-3 years’ experience in home remodeling or interior design industry, kitchen/bath design, understands cabinetry design, and has experience with 20/20 or CAD. If a full design course has been completed, professional experience requirements may be waived based on course of study and internship experience.
