Position Overview:

This position entails researching, documenting, recording and updating Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases.  The successful candidate will interface with Government, vendors and State Department personnel to support the procurement of material for allies.   


Interface effectively with customers and co-workers to deliver quality products.

Conduct FMS Case Reviews and provide customers with detailed reports.

Conduct FMS procurement evaluations by evaluating requirements, collecting procurement data and conducting analyses and recommendations to Government personnel for impacts and selections for planning and implementation.

Draft presentations, and be capable of presenting to customer’s and customer’s clients as required.

Draft White Papers detailing an issue or challenge in a concise manner, effectively providing alternatives and making recommendations which support the end customer objective with respect to technical, budgetary, schedule and risk.

Ability to formulate FMS project objectives, develop FMS project budgets and schedules, and coordinate FMS efforts for the project.


US Citizen only.

Ability to acquire and maintain a Secret Clearance, Active Secret Clearance preferred.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or Management or;

Two years of related/practical experience may be substituted for each year of college education.

Additionally, a minimum of five (5) years DoD project support experience is required, of which two (2) years must be specific DoD acquisition, procedures, supply support policy, utilization of technical resources, and products baseline control procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Understanding of logistics concepts and operational needs.  Experience w/ configuration management, supply chain management (commercial and military); shipping and receiving processes a plus.

Detail oriented and ability to work under time constraints as required.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Organizational, time management and computer skills.
