1. Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Struts, Hibernate. Build tools like ANT and MAVEN



2. Good understanding of Content Management Systems concepts. Experience with creating authoring, presentation templates, content lifecycle, workflow management is required.



3. Strong requirements analysis and design skills



4. Excellent coding and unit testing skills



5. Good understanding of coding standards, conventions and best practices and ability to conduct code reviews. Exposure to tools like PMD, Checkstyle etc. is nice to have



6. Good communication skills
