Required Skill Set

Mandatory Skills:



. Minimum 9 years of Tech Lead experience in COBOL, IMS, DB2, VSAM,
JCL and CICS (Mandatory)

* Database experience: DBDS (IMS access Tool), DADS(Database
allocation tool) : 4+

. Data model Tool Erwin : 2+

* Programming and administrative experience in IMS-DB: 4+

* Programming and administrative experience in CICS : 4+

* Programming and administrative experience in DB2: 4+

* Programming and administrative experience in VSAM : 4+

* Programming experience in JCL,COBOL : 5+

Good to Have



Knowledge in :

o Syncsort

o Easytrieve

o Nomad

o Endevor

o JCL Plus

o CA-7 scheduler

o Mainframe application Tuner



Skill Profile & Job Description:

* Strong lead experience of minimum 4 years in relevant technologies
(Cobol, IMS DB, CICS, DB2 & VSAM mandatory)

* Strong coding / programming skills in relevant technologies (Cobol,
IMS DB, CICS, DB2 & VSAM mandatory; Should be hands-on)

* Strong knowledge on Mainframe SDLC process.

* Good OLTP programming exposure and ability to handle work in VSAM &
JCL

* Ability to do data modeling, Prepare design Specifications, draw
process flow from functionality document

* Ability to do reverse engineering, prepare specs and flow diagrams
based on screens, programs, working from sketchy requirements

* Ability of handling enhancements in current functionality in an
environment of less/no documentation available.

* Quick turnaround and working in tight development cycles in
iterative projects

* Good understanding of online, reporting & batch programming
techniques.

* The candidates we are looking for are technically very sound, can
begin work rapidly and with little/no overview provided.

* They should be self-driven, provide inputs for status, based on
activities assigned and raise issues/concerns to the module lead on time

* Interfacing well with all project stakeholders in order to clarify
needs /scope, suggest workable design and rapid develop the
components/programs.

* Consider 8+ years of experience productive resources.
