SAP Supply Chain Consultant – PPDS/ME



Location: 60% remote / 40% travel to Germany

Contract: 6 months, extensions likely

Interview: phone first, f2f second



Our client, located in the Perimeter area of Atlanta, is seeking an SAP
Supply Chain Consultant for their team who will lead the Production
Planning and Detailed Scheduling along with Manufacturing Execution portion
of the client?s Global SAP implementation. They would like to find someone
considered an expert in these areas. This person will be responsible
for creating
and maintaining BPPs (Business Process Procedures) and PDDs (Process
Definition Documents). And depending on scope, this person will be working
on Capacity Planning, Scheduling, Planned Order Management of the Mfg
floor, ShopPaper, Production Confirmations, Batch Job setup and
Maintenance, Labeling applications, Mfg Execution Interfaces, and APO
Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling.



Essential Duties:

· Provide technical and process direction relative to implementing
processes related to Production Planning & Manufacturing

· Create and develop a documented process within the NR
manufacturing footprint

· Understand the concepts and current processes associated with
Production Planning, Scheduling, Manufacturing Execution and Shop floor
management

· Work with other business process owners, end-users, project team
members to effectively implement the SAP Plan-to-Ship processes on schedule

· Provide best practices to aid in the blueprinting, realization,
testing & roll-out phases

· Lead and participate in project phase reviews as required and lead
workshops as needed

· Active member of the project team as necessary to meet roll-out
goals



Key Relationships:

· SAP IT/Process Leads

· System Integrators P2S Team Staff

· BPOs (Business Process Owners), BPCs (Business Process Champions),
and SME’s (Subject Matter Experts)

· Stakeholders – Material Mgrs, Planners, Production Supervisors,
Cell Leads, Operators

Education:

Bachelors in related field, or equivalent experience



Work Experience Requirements:

· 5+ years of SAP experience focusing on APO PPDS processes and ECC
Manufacturing Execution Processes and Implementations

· 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing plant related to
operations or production planning.

· High impact individual with the ability to both challenge and
influence top management.

· Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative
relationships.

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects

· End-to-end implementation of at least one successful SAP
implementation

· Multiple SAP implementations experience and SAP certification a
plus. SAP implementation in the Consumer Products industry a plus

· Experience with global implementations is a plus





Technical Experience and other Requirements:

Technical Skills and Experience are considered advanced to expert knowledge
and focused on SAP APO PPDS and ECC Mfg Execution.

· SAP APO – 5 years minimum experience is required

· SAP ECC – 2 years minimum experience is a plus

· Must have the ability to work with business process users and
technical users

· Will be responsible for training and assisting to develop “super
users” within the business.

· Experience in project work and ASAP methodology, SAP marketplace,
OSS process

· Experience in writing Functional Specification Documentation
(WRICEF) is a plus

· Experience and skilled in creating Functional Units Tests,
Integration Tests and User Acceptance Testing

· Skills to lead blueprinting workshops, gather business
requirements and design systems processes that meet business process needs

· Knowledge of ABAP, BW a plus

· Knowledge of MS Office Tools, Mercury Testing Tools, a plus

· Experience implementing SAP APO, SAP R3 and/or mySAP ERP.
