TITLE: Software Test Engineer with Spanish speaking



Location: Duluth, GA



Duration: 6 months+



Rate: $33/hr on C2C



Exp: 3yr







MUST BE SPANISH/ENGLISH FLUENT







Spanish as a primary language with English being secondary is a requirement.

The Test Engineer will perform the test/quality requirements and indicate

the results/status within the appropriate reporting guidelines. In addition,

the Test Engineer documents the actual results, gathers the appropriate

technical software detail, and enters into the global Issue Management

System. The tester will interface with subject matter experts throughout the

project to provide details of the executed tests. Key Areas of

Responsibilities The Software Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring that

solutions meet business needs by: . Defining and executing the overall test

plan, including supporting documentation, for the projects they are assigned

to, in conjunction with the project teams. . Auditing the early stages of

the development lifecycle until Unit/Component Test Complete. . Performing

software testing methodologies consistent with the requirements of the

system development life cycle. . Creating the software integration and

regression based test specifications . Performing integration testing,

performance testing, functional testing, client acceptance testing, user

interface testing using the plans, tools, and scripts developed. .

Conducting Quality Assurance methodologies on NCR ATM's and competitor brand

suites of financial products, in preparation for product release to

customers. . Preparing Test Check-off spreadsheets, maintaining Test Results

and monitoring Test Progress. . Identifying, characterizing and reporting

defects found during testing . Reviewing technical documentation (e.g.

information products and customer training) as required. . Working with the

development teams and other test engineers to encourage the use of best

practice test tools and techniques throughout the software development

lifecycle. . Building and developing knowledge of available test practices

and tools . Developing and maintaining product knowledge . Tracking Issues

and detailed communication is expected through generation of reports, as

well as status of testing coverage for assigned software projects. .

Continuously identifying lessons learned and opportunities for improvement

during the course of the project and providing feedback to the project team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS . 2+ years experience in software testing and quality

assurance . BS and/or MS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) .

Exceptional Spanish/English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Spanish must be primary language. . Proficient in the Software Development

Process, software testing life cycle and software configuration management

as they relate to the process. . Ability to work with minimal guidance and

demonstrate initiative. . Work on projects of medium to high complexity, and

exercise judgment within defined procedures & practices to determine

appropriate action . Ability to work effectively in a team environment .

Good resource and time management skills to successfully work on and drive

multiple tasks at one time PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preference would be

given to candidates with: . Spanish as primary language, English as

secondary . Experience in one or more of the following financial business

practices: ATM multi-vendor software, ATM Management Solutions, check image

deposit processing solutions (NCR, Diebold, Wincor, Hyosung) . 1+ years on

problem report tracking software (Level 4 BRIDGE-Test, HP Quality Center,

MKS, or other) . Product development lifecycle exposure . Basic Networking;

TCP/IP, VPN, T-1, Dial-up
