Position Functions or Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Chief Data Architect, serves as an expert Data Quality manager overseeing the Data Quality program initiative. These individuals will be tasked to partner with various stakeholders to gather requirements and support the implementation of the data Quality strategy and policies that will result in improved operational efficiency and high data quality standards in all data created, utilized and supported across the enterprise in DIIT.

· Experience with analyzing and resolving data issues, trends, or exceptions including data conformity, data governance, or data sensitivity aspects

· Proven ability to document and maintain data standards, rules, and data process flows taking into account business requirements and legal/privacy compliance and regulations.

· Measure, monitor and notify of resolutions based on the project plan.

· Drive the identification and agreement of Data Remediation Recommendations.

· Data Quality Incident categorization, prioritization and tracking.

· Identify business impacts associated with nonconformance to the defined data quality

rules.

· Utilize a broad range of tools for profiling, quality analysis determine causes of quality issues.

Minimum Core Competencies:

1. Experience in information management tools such as data cleansing, data profiling, metadata management, master data, data modeling

2. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to visualize complex data relationships and to understand the relationship to business processes and systems

3. Experience in IBM Information Analyzer to conduct Data Quality assessment.

4. Experience with QualityStage and Business Glossary.

5. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to visualize complex data relationships and to understand the relationship to business processes and systems where data is managed.

6. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; interacting with all levels within the organization with excellent organization and follow through skills

7. Data Quality Analyst certification

8. Ability to be a self starter with little supervision needed
